A pre-purchase property inspection typically takes around 2 hours, depending on the size and complexity of the building and its surrounding property. This allows the inspector enough time to gather relevant information from a visual inspection and compile a detailed report for you.
We are a Licensed Building Practitioner, and all of our inspectors are experienced and hold relevant recognised trade qualifications. Some may not be aware, but to inspect residential property in New Zealand, you do not require any qualifications. Still, your inspections must comply with the NZS 4306:2005 Residential Property Inspection Standard.
